Hello, my name is Malcolm Walker and I conduct humanist funeral ceremonies on behalf of families and friends who want a secular and dignified farewell for their loved ones.

A humanist ceremony is usually appropriate when the deceased did not have any particular religious beliefs. It is not necessary that the deceased or family be convinced atheists, just that they feel more comfortable with a ceremony that celebrates the life of their loved one without resort to churches and clergy that had no part in their daily lives,

As I am not tied to any particular ritual I am able to prepare a very personal ceremony based on information supplied by relatives and friends. There can be room for readings and tributes from whoever wishes to do so. Music can be chosen to reflect the taste of the deceased and to help to add poignancy.

I have been trained by the British Humanist Association and thus abide by the high standards that they require.

I am based in South West London in Hampton and can cover ceremonies within reasonable distance.
